Hi,
I am using firedocs with apache lenya.
When editing in firedocs, the cursor behaviour is a little unusual - I don't get the regular flashing vertical line that I get in the browser.
Sometimes the cursor disappears altogether although cursor movements still work and text gets entered at the correct place.
Anyone know where to look on how to fix this?

I am trying to install firedocs as add on for Mozilla Firefox 3.5.2 to use as eLML editor. As eLML site (http://www.elml.org/website/en/html/tools_editor.html) suggest to install firedocs-elml-full.xpi as add on for Mozilla. It is strange that there is no file with this name on net. What I am getting is firedocs-elml-1-2b06.xpi at Sourceforge.net site and firedocs-1.3.xpi at firedocs.org site. At time of installation of firedocs-elml-1-2b06.xpi, Mozilla reports that it is not compatible. I can install firedocs-1.3.xpi but it hang at time of opening any file. I have latest update for Java with windows xp (service pack 2).

I'd like to add support for a custom schema (Forrest Document 2.0, http://forrest.apache.org/dtdx/document-v20.dtdx.html). After looking at the eLML extension, this seems more complicated than I had expected. For instance, the JavaScript to insert paragraphs (eLessonParagraphCommand.js) is 238 lines long.
Is this amount of code necessary for any custom schema, or is there an easier approach? At the first stage I don't need any custom widgets, but manipulating the document structure via the context menu should be supported, and preferrably adding new paragraphs and list items using the return key.
