WebDAV
You have to enable the WebDAV "Auto Discovery" setting in the Preferences first. This is disabled by default because if turned on Firedocs will scan every page you visit for WebDAV properties (with an additional PROPFIND request). This can cause problems with some web applications.
-
(Firefox) Settings > Editor > WebDAV > enable "Auto Discovery"
Now you're ready to edit documents:
- Navigate to a WebDAV page
- (Firefox) Browser toolbar > Editor > Edit Document. This will launch Firedocs, lock the document and open it.
-
Edit the document.
-
Save with the "Save" button.
-
Close and exit the editor with the "Close" button. This will automatically release the lock for the document.
